There is a wide array of Fellowship Opportunities at Port Madison. You are always invited to join us! Please feel free to give us a call if you have any questions about any of these activities!
The men of Port Madison Lutheran gather one Saturday morning every month at 8:30am either at church or at a local coffee shop. We gather to share concerns and challenges, to pray together, and to support one another as we serve our Lord at home and at work.
Out to Lunch Bunch
A group of us gather on the second Tuesday each month to go out to lunch at a variety of local restaurants and share in some great conversation. Carpooling is available.
It’s easy and fun – no experience needed! Our quilting fellowship meets on Tuesday mornings (January – May) to make quilts to give to those who need them through-out our community. We enjoy fellowship while creating these cherished quilts. Bring a sack lunch.
Prayer Shawl Knitting Group
Pastor Lori began a Prayer Shawl ministry several years ago and Kitt Mathisen continues this ministry in Lori’s memory. Kitt leads a group (in her office on Hildebrand Lane) on the third Wednesday each month to knit prayer shawls for those in our community experiencing loss, illness, transition, as well as for Baptisms, Confirmations and wedding celebrations. We follow the book, Knitting into the Mystery by Susan S. Jorgenson and Susan S. Izard. Each shawl will be blessed upon completion. There is also a time of faith sharing and scripture.
Family Fun Night
One Saturday evening every month we meet at church for dinner, a movie, games and good conversation. All ages are welcome!
